07 February Unser neuer roomie Aser...Ola, que tal?
Schon wieder ein Blog von mir - aber es gibt einen wichtigen Grund: wir haben einen neuen Mitbewohner. Wie es dazu kam sieht man wahrscheinlich am Besten wenn man sich das E-Mail durchlest das er an das Housing Office geschickt hat:
I was in the housing office this morning because i need to change my house
in Nicosia. I have a lot of important reasons, I am going to try to explain this reasons but my english is so poor. The reasons are the following: I am living in Anastasia toufeksi street number 7. My house is to far from the university and this is a big problem for me because I don’t have a car and so I have to walk for 40 minutes to go to university. I am always alone in the house because my roommate has a close group of friends and my relationship with them, doesn’t exist. If i want to speak with another person more than 5 minutes per day i need to take a taxi or go walking for 40 minutes. This situation is not viable for a boy who is 20 years old. The principal reason to come to Cyprus for erasmus was to improve my english. But in this situation is not possible. I am living very far from the other Erasmus students; this is a big problem because i don’t speak greek. This situation makes me to be in a depressive feeling. In my opinion talking is a necessary action for a foreign student how is very far from his house for more than 4 months, and now is impossible. I was talking with other erasmus students and they are living in housing office flats with free rooms, for example there is one friend of mine that came for Erasmus in Cyprus and the housing office gave to him a house with two free rooms, he lives in methonis street number 21 and it could be nice if I can stay with him in his house. Also there are lot friends of mine that came here for Erasmus and the housing office gave to theme houses with free rooms. Because of this I think that is not impossible to put me in one of these house that I had mention and help me to put end at this problem. If i can’t change my house i think that i will return home for psychological healthy reasons and these could be a big problem for me because I’m going to loos all the academic year and a good opportunity to kwon this culture and learn new languages. If you can imagine my situation you will must agree with me. Is not a pleasure for me to change house, but it is really a need. I am really sorry with all the problems that may i cause. I am waiting for a response as soon as possible. Thank you very much. Damit also der arme Bua nicht wirklich depressiv wird und bald irgendwo auf der Beratungscouch liegt haben sie ihn zu uns gschickt. wir päppeln den Armen halt jetzt so gut es geht mit Bier auf, weil wenn der was trinkt dann is er sowieso nimma zu packen. Ein Beispiel: Gestern auf der Party fragt ihn die Natalia us der Ukraine "Do you think i'm hot?" - seine Antwort: "NO, you're drunk!" ich würd sagen ein einfaches YES hätte gereicht.
Das war's auch schon wieder - ich hab nicht soviel Zeit denn ich muss jetzt wieder den Chris ablösen, weil der hat sich die letzte Stund um den Aser (nicht Acer) gekümmert.
